Home Care Assistant

£9.50 per hour + enhanced weekend rate
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Role of a Home Care Worker

Duties include (but are not limited to);

  • Assistance with personal care (washing, bathing, oral care)
  • Continence Care
  • Encouraging adequate nutrition and hydration through meal preparation
  • Assisting our customers to maintain clean and tidy home environments through fulfilling household chores and laundry
  • Ensuring dignity is maintained through assisting with toileting, medication administration, emotional support, promoting safety and ensuring excellent communication
  • Recognising and raising concerns about our customers health and wellbeing
  • Clear and accurate documentation of care interventions provided

Requirements

  • Previous Care Experience
  • Proof of right to work in the UK
  • Good English verbal and written skills
  • UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
  • Ability to work unsupervised
